With this on, leaving the app for more than ten seconds during a ride lets a goblin steal your clean-ride bonus. A ride with no goblins is worth 20% more XP. On a computer you may well work in another window, so it starts off there.

Finish a focus ride to earn 10 XP per minute, so a 25 minute ride is worth 250 XP. With phone-down mode on, a ride nobody interrupted is a clean ride and pays 20% more, making that 300. Skipped or reset rides earn nothing. Moving a card to Done earns 50 XP, once per card.
Coins come from rides and finished quests and only buy things in the castle. They never change your XP.
